This site is currently under construction. We would like to provide you with some initial information about our association here. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

We are a german patient association for people and their families who are affected by retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa (RP) or Usher syndrome. RP is hereditary and chronic. It causes the retina to gradually deteriorate. The consequences are night blindness, poor contrast vision, increased sensitivity to glare and a restricted field of vision, known as ‘tunnel vision’. In the final stage, blindness is to be expected. Those who suffer from Usher syndrome also experience deafness.
Western conventional medicine has been trying for decades to find a cure for this insidious disease – so far in vain.
When our association was founded in 2003, it set itself the task of finding and supporting alternative treatment methods worldwide. After careful consideration, the association decided to turn its attention to the so-called Cuba therapy. This globally unique approach was developed in Havana in the 1980s and has been continuously improved ever since. It involves a surgical procedure that combines conventional medicine, alternative medicine and naturopathic methods. The aim is to protect the blood supply to the eye and thus protect it against the disease. The goal is to slow down or stop the progression of the disease.
Cuba therapy is expressly not a cure, and there is no guarantee of its effectiveness. Before deciding to undergo Cuba therapy, it is essential to consult a specialist doctor.
